Article Writing and Submission Guidelines for the Journal of Steel & Structure

(Note: Articles that are not submitted in the journal’s required format will not be reviewed.)
Dear authors, please consider the following points when submitting articles:
The official language of the journal is Persian, and articles are accepted only in Persian with an English abstract.
Articles must be research-based, reflecting original work by the author(s) in the field of steel and structures, and should not have been previously published or submitted to other journals simultaneously.
The acceptable types of articles for publication are divided into two categories:
a. Full research papers: 2500–3500 words (or equivalent).
b. Short research notes: maximum of 2500 words (or equivalent).
Note 1: Review articles written by experienced researchers with a strong background in the relevant field may also be accepted.
Note 2: Translated articles are not accepted.
Submitted articles must include the following sections:
a. Name of author(s); name of the corresponding author marked with an asterisk; institutional affiliation of each author; full contact information of the corresponding author including postal address, phone number, fax number, and email.
b. Full title of the article in Persian, Persian abstract (maximum 250 words), keywords in Persian (up to five); full title of the article in Englis, and names and affiliations of the authors in English.
c. Introduction, main body (including problem statement, methodology, interpretation, and analysis of results), conclusion, acknowledgements, glossary of Latin terms, references, and original figures.
Note 1: Foreign terms must be accompanied by accurate and clear Persian equivalents. Full terms and acronyms used in the text should be explained in footnotes.
Note 2: The placement of tables, figures, and diagrams in the text must follow the order they are mentioned. High-quality originals in black and white with at least 500 DPI resolution must be provided.
Note 3: All references must be cited precisely within the text and listed in order of appearance.
Note 4: Articles must be submitted on A4 paper, two-column layout, single line spacing, using B Lotus font size 12.
Note 5: The English abstract should be between 150 and 250 words and written in size 10 font.
Note 6: Articles must fully comply with the template provided by the journal.
